“The ring became a symbol of a moment that felt like unbelievable fate.”

I chose the Vestige Damascus ring to propose to my partner, Rhys, at Glastonbury this year. I’d seen it months earlier and instantly knew it was the one — the meteorite and dinosaur bone inlay felt symbolic, something that connects the stars and the earth. The Damascus steel, with its distinctive layered pattern, felt equally fitting for Rhys.

I proposed at the Stone Circle, “Sacred Space,” surrounded by friends and the festival’s energy. By complete chance, a passing photographer captured the moment, and a nearby group offered us a Pride flag to hold. Everything aligned in a way that felt like fate.

Rhys said yes - and the ring became a symbol of that moment.

"I love the meaning behind it"

I wanted a ring that not only looked good, wouldn't scratch or tarnish easily, wasn't just a gold band, but mostly had meaning and thought behind it, so I went for The Horizon ring.


I spend a lot of my downtime recycling wood and making things, so I wanted to include wood in the design. I also wanted something that would match the black diamond engagement ring I bought my wife, so black tungsten was a perfect choice. I already have a ring inlaid with Abalone shell and love the meaning behind it of emotional balance, protection, and prosperity, especially in connection with my marriage, whilst the gold around it still has the 'nod' towards a traditional wedding band.

“When I wear my ring, I’m reminded of that first date in Leeds.”

On 1 August, I proposed to Joe at Kendal Calling, a music festival in the Lake District. I asked the question on-stage during Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s set and fortunately, Joe said YES!

I chose our rings from Wolf&Bond because, even though we now live in London, our hearts are still in West Yorkshire. We had our first date in Leeds - meeting at the train station before going for tapas and cocktails - and wearing the ring reminds me of that moment.

The resilience of the Ember Silver Tungsten also reflects Joe perfectly, especially when he’s on deployment with the RAF.

We recently married at Old Marylebone Town Hall, and we’re already thinking about our next Wolf&Bond rings.

Excellent service

After 25 years together my partner and I finally decided to get married. We spent a while looking at rings but the standard bands were not our thing. We found this site and immediately found a few we liked, however the Astra Silver with Crushed Meteorite won our hearts. It was an unusual design and was made of the strong Tungsten so we knew it would wear well.
We were unsure of size as we both recently lost weight and we were sent a ring sizer. We found our size and ordered matching rings. We ordered the wooden keepsake box too, which it a beautiful thing by itself.
We chose to have both rings engraved and waited for them to arrive. Unfortunately one was not done to the same level of quality and I emailed Will who immediately sorted the issue and found a way to resolve the issue quickly.
Both Will and Kate were quick to respond to emails and I’m glad they were so efficient in getting any problem sorted.
We now have both rings, engraved to a high quality and we couldn’t be happier.
The next stage now will be exchanging the rings on the big day in October.
I would completely recommend this company to anyone I know and if you are after an unusual and striking band for your big day etc, go ahead and order from here.
